ANNUAL REVIEW:  This indicates the month that Annual Reviews will begin for each year group. Some may take place the following month or later in the year if necessary. Dates for annual reviews will be provided in advance.

WRITTEN PROGRESS REPORT:  This is your child’s annual written report, which will outline current progress and areas for further development in each subject, along with a comment from the Pastoral Mentor.

PARENT/TEACHER PROGRESS MEETINGS: You are invited to school to meet with your child’s teachers to review their schoolwork and discuss progress and areas for further development.  These will take place from 4.00pm-5.30pm on the date stated above and will follow our usual parents’ evening procedure but with reduced numbers of parents, due to the splitting of the key stages.

PASTORAL MENTOR MEETING:  A 30-minute appointment will be arranged for parents and carers to meet with their child’s Pastoral Mentor to discuss their personal development and well-being, and their academic progress.  The Pastoral Mentor will have available a range of data and information to enable them to discuss all aspects of your child’s development and progress.  These will take place during a school day as indicated above.

PROGRESS UPDATE:

  • KEY STAGE 3: Parents and carers will receive, in the post, a list of their child’s current attainment levels in each subject.
  • KEY STAGES 4 AND 5: Parents and carers will receive, in the post, the results of the latest monitoring of progress towards target grades.  This will commence in October for Year 11 and December for Year 10.
