Welcome

Welcome to Corley Centre and thank you for visiting our website.

Corley Centre is a secondary special school for students with complex social and communication difficulties. Many of our students have a diagnosis of autism and their academic abilities span the full National Curriculum and GCSE range.

Located on the outskirts of Coventry, Corley Centre is a Coventry LA maintained school and welcomes students from across the city and a small number from Warwickshire and Solihull. The school is situated in green, open space surrounded by trees. It is a calm and welcoming environment where the sense of community is strong and students feel safe.  Visitors frequently comment on the courtesy shown to them by our students and of their pride in their school.

We aim to create a supportive learning environment where each student can reach his or her full academic and personal potential.  We aim to develop self-confident, independent and motivated learners who strive to reach aspirational goals.  We strive to make our students the central focus of all we do.

Ofsted inspected us in October 2013 and judged the school to be Good and improving.  Our aspiration is to be judged Outstanding.

Prospective parents are always welcome, and tours and informal visits can be arranged  by contacting the school office.

Do have a browse through our website, which we aim to develop over time into a useful resource for students, families, our own staff and a range of other professionals. I hope you are interested by what you find.
